Europe’s best-selling van1 just became electric. Renowned for toughness and reliability, and now reimagine for a new era of electrified productivity.
Electrified and full of purpose
The new E-Transit Custom is built from the ground up with electrification and next-gen connectivity at its heart. And what’s more, it’s packed with intelligent software and connectivity tools, all helping you to outsmart the day-to-day, maximise vehicle uptime, and ultimately to increase productivity for your business. Your work van has never worked harder.
Uptime isn't compromised with the E-Transit Custom supporting DC fast charging up to 124kW for a 15-80 per cent recharge in 41 minutes. The 11kW AC three-phase onboard charger is capable of fully recharging the battery in just 7.2 hours, perfect for overnight.
Technology to match
E-Transit Custom comes with a 13-inch landscape touchscreen angled towards the driver for ease of use and Ford’s advanced SYNC®42 communication and infotainment system powered by a new 5G modem for fast connectivity. Your work van has never worked harder.
Customer focused design
Ford designers went to great lengths when considering how owners would use the E-Transit Custom, even down to the smallest of details. Grains on materials throughout the vehicle use textures that avoid trapping dirt and water, giving the best balance between offering a firm footing for wet or muddy boots and enabling heavy items to slide in and out easily. The van is also an office space for many customers, so an optional tilting steering wheel has been designed to transition to an ergonomic stand for tablets and laptops as well as a flat topped table to make writing and lunch breaks more comfortable.
Officially homologated energy efficiency figures including driving range will be published closer to on-sale date for Australia using ADR 81/02 certification. The figure quoted above is the targeted range and charge time based on manufacturer tested values and calculation according to the present European requirements that use the WLTP drive cycle. The declared fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151, as last amended. Actual range varies with conditions such as external elements, driving behaviours, vehicle maintenance, lithium-ion battery age and state of health.
The charging rate decreases as battery reaches full capacity. Your results may vary based on peak charging times and battery state of charge.
